Jaydev Unadkat (9.5/10)

Ran through the DC top order with sensational figures of 3 for 15. The batsmen had not answer to his slower balls on the day. Prithvi Shaw and Ajinkya Rahane were completely deceived while Shikhar Dhawan perished to the same bowler, trying to ramp his unsuccessfully.

Chris Morris (9/10)

Played the game changing-cameo of 36 not out from 18 to win the game for RR with four sixes. Bowled his three overs for 27. Dismissed Lalit Yadav as the batsman tried to take him on.

David Miller (8.5/10)

Made an fighting 62 to ensure RR were in the hunt despite losing early wickets. It was his knock that gave Chris Morris a chance to make a match out of it in the end.

Mustafizur Rahman (8/10)

Taking a cue from Jaydev Unadkat, sent back the dangerous Marcus Stoinis with a cutter that the batsman could only hit straight up in the air. Cleaned up Tom Curran with a deceptive ball to end with 2 for 29.

Chetan Sakariya (7/10)

Did not pick up a wicket but was impressive yet again. Bowled the tough overs and did not go for too many. Was slightly unlucky to go for 33 in his four.

Rahul Tewatia (5/10)

Bowled three overs for 27. Took a good running catch to dismiss Lalit Yadav. Made 19 with the bat before being undone by Kagiso Rabada’s pace.

Riyan Parag 4/10)

Scored a direct hit to dismiss Rishabh Pant just after the DC captain had crossed his fifty. Was outdone by a slower one from Avesh Khan to be dismissed for 2.

Sanju Samson (4/10)

Took a brilliant leaping catch to send back Shikhar Dhawan. Fell cheaply with the bat.

Manan Vohra (3/10)

Hit Chris Woakes for two impressive boundaries but perished in the same over.

Jos Buttler (2/10)

Was outdone by a smart piece of bowling by Chris Woakes. Was caught behind for 2.

Shivam Dube (1/10)

Played a nothing shot to be caught in the slip off Avesh Khan

Chris Woakes (9/10)

Contributed a handy 15 not out with the bat. Dismissed Jos Buttler and Manan Vohra cheaply to keep DC in the hunt. Ended with excellent figures of 2 for 22.

Avesh Khan (8.5/10)

Got Shivam Dube with a good length delivery outside off, then outfoxed Riyan Parag with a slower ball. Added the massive scalp of David Miller to end with 3 for 32.

Rishabh Pant (8/10)

Played a captain’s knock of 51, hitting nine fours. Kept DC afloat even as wickets were falling all round him. Was run-out going for a single, hitting the ball too close to the bowler.

Ravichandran Ashwin (7.5/10)

Kept things tight. Gave away only 14 in his three without claiming a wicket.

Shikhar Dhawan (6/10)

Attempted to get cheeky but failed in his attempt. Tried to ramp a slower ball from Jaydev Unadkat behind the stumps but could not get any power. Was brilliantly caught by a leading Sanju Samson. Took three safe catches in the field.

Lalit Yadav (5.5/10)

Gave Rishabh Pant good company for a while after DC had lost a few wickets at the start. After his captain was dismissed, he too perished for 20 from 24, trying to look for some runs.

Kagiso Rabada (5/10)

Got the big wicket of Sanju Samson with a good length ball outside off. Came back to dismiss Rahul Tewatia for 19 but was hit for two sixes by Chris Morris in his last over.

Tom Curran (4/10)

Played a good hand of 21 from 16 to give DC something to bowl at. But was battered for two crucial sixes by Chris Morris that won the game for RR.

Ajinkya Rahane (2.5/10)

Was completely deceived by a slower one from Jaydev Unadkat. Chipped one straight back to the bowler. Made a run-a-ball 8.

Prithvi Shaw (2/10)

Was out of 2. Edged a slower ball from Jaydev Unadkat to backward point!

Marcus Stoinis (1/10)

Was foxed by a cutter from Mustafizur Rahman and checked a drive, only to balloon the ball towards short extra cover. Fell for a duck. Gave away 15 in the only over he bowled.
