Hardik Pandya has repeatedly lauded MS Dhoni for his contribution in his career. Hardik was backed by Dhoni when he made his international debut, and the Gujarat Titans captain considers him a brother.
Hardik has traits of Dhoni in his leadership style, and the all-rounder has openly admitted it. Despite being one of the most successful captains in IPL and international cricket, Dhoni has a long list of critics who continue to target him whenever he fails to lead Chennai Super Kings to success or hit batting goes down.
Pandya has replied to those making unnecessary noise about the legendary cricketer.
“I’ll always be an MS Dhoni fan. He’s a dear friend and a brother to me. You need to be a devil to hate someone like MSD,” he said.
Gujarat Titans will take on CSK in the Qualifier 1 of the Indian Premier League 2023 at Chepauk. While the defending champions finished as the leading team in the points table, the four-time title holders were second.
The winner of the contest will make it to the final of the 16th season.
