The 56-year old Manoj Prabhakar, who has been into controversies a number of times, has landed into another one. The Delhi Police has registered a case of cheating, forgery, and trespassing against Prabhakar.

The complaint has been made by Sandhya Sharma Pandit who owns a flat in the same locality where Manoj Prabhakar is residing with his actress wife Farheen and children for the past 23 years. Sandhya, who lives in London, has alleged that Manoj Prabhakar broke into her flat by producing fake documents and illegally lodged his friend there. She was denied entering into her flat by the occupant when she returned back from London.

Delhi Police said, “The woman claimed that when she tried to raise the issue, she was threatened with dire consequences.” Sandhya was also asked to pay Rs 1.50 crore if she wanted her property back.

Pandit mentioned that her husband Laxmi Chand Pandit bought this flat from a builder in 1995. However, they shifted to London in 2006 and the flat was handed over to their relatives. They also left in 2018 and it was closed since then.

Manoj has denied the allegations, “I’ve never met the complainant. If she comes in front of me, she wouldn’t even recognize me. People come and go in this building. Why will I barge into someone else’s property? This is a ploy to defame me.”

During the initial investigation, a case has been registered against Prabhakar, his family and a property dealer Manoj Goel, who helped Prabhakar in encroaching the flat and arranging the forged documents. Police will call Manoj Prabhakar for questioning soon.
