Pakistan’s fast bowling coach Shaun Tait faced the media after Babar Azam-led team lost to England by 8 wickets in the sixth T20I of the series. Phil Salt slammed the Pakistan bowlers to all parts of the ground.
Addressing the media, Tait stumped the reporters with his humour. Tait joked that he is there to be a part of press conferences when Pakistan lose badly against the opponent.
“So when Pakistan lose badly, they send me. They send me when we get beaten badly,” he said.
He lauded the England batters for their attacking batting. “They went after our bowlers. They tried to hit a boundary on every ball, which put our bowlers off guard. We didn’t do much wrong, but it was great batting by England,” he added.
Opener Salt scored an unbeaten 88 off 41 balls to help England win the game in just 14.3 overs while chasing 170.
