Jasprit Bumrah was recently ruled out of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 after suffering a back injury.
He played just two T20Is against Australia, which aggravated his back injury, and he would not have recovered on time for the global event.
However, former India player Ajay Jadeja is not worried about the situation as he feels India have won games without their main speedster.
He gave the example of the Pakistan team that won the 1992 World in Australia under Imran Khan’s captaincy.
Speaking to Cricbuzz, Jadeja felt that the Indian team should not think too much as there are players who win games in his absence.
“Pakistan faced a similar situation in the 1992 World Cup as Waqar Younis was ruled out but still won the trophy. India are without Bumrah, but they can win the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia,” he said.
