Umran Malik ODI debut
Virat Kohli’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma has urged the Indian team management to back Umran Malik.

Umran Malik was finally handed his ODI debut cap in the first one-day international against New Zealand.

Entire India was waiting for the moment, considering his pace. Malik is the fastest India bowler and clocked 153 kmph in the first game.

He has added two wickets in the form of Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell from his 6 overs. The fans were delighted to see a pacer bowling a hostile spell for the Indian team and lauded him on social media.

India scored 306/7 in 50 overs, with Shreyas Iyer amassing 80 runs. Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill also hit the fifties.
