The cricket world is praising Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan for their 203-run partnership in the second T20I against England.

Mohammad Rizwan has stated that his partnership with skipper Babar Azam has been fruitful as they trust each other blindly. The two stitched a 203-run partnership in the second T20I against England. While Babar scored 110, Rizwan contributed with 88.

Rizwan opened up about his equation with his captain. “We have a belief in each other and trust each other blindly. If Babar says that we have to slam the bowlers, then I know why he is saying that. In the second match, I was hitting the ball well, and then he also found his range,” he said.

Babar said that their aim is to set the stage for the middle-order batters.

“We want to set a platform for the remaining batters. Our plan is to get 80-90 in the first 10 overs. We discuss plans and how to execute them,” he said.

“Sometimes, one of us hits the ball well, so we plan accordingly. If we can bat till the end, we can score 10-15 runs per over. When you are set, you can finish games,” Babar added.
