Madhya Pradesh's Yash Dubey performed Sidhu Moose Wala's step after reaching the game's three-figure mark.

On the second day of the Ranji Trophy final between Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh, Sarfaraz Khan smashed a well-compiled hundred for the most successful team in the competition’s history. He imitated late Sidhu Moose Wala’s signature ‘thigh-slap’ step and later confirmed that it was his tribute to the Punjab singer, who is no more.

Madhya Pradesh’s Yash Dubey performed Sidhu Moose Wala’s step after reaching the game’s three-figure mark.

In the second-last over before Lunch on Day 3, Dubey reached his century with a four. He first did KL Rahul’s ‘shut-out-the-noise’ celebration and followed it up with Moose Wala’s ‘thigh-slap’ step.

Earlier, following his century on Day 2, Sarfaraz said – “This was for Sidhu Moosewala. I have been listening to his songs for four years. The last song that he sang was similar to my life story. So I was shocked when I came to know about his death.”
