Virat Kohli was electrifying during the first warm-up game between India and Australia. He ran out Tim David and took a stunning catch of Pat Cummins as India won the game by 6 runs.
Earlier, India scored 186 runs with the fifties from KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav. Virat accumulated 19 runs off 13 balls. The former India skipper went to the nets after the game.
He spent around 40 minutes in the nets with the coaching staff. Kohli did his batting session with Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan.
The Pakistan team was at the venue for the second warm-up match of the day at the Gabba against England. Babar and Rizwan were rested by the Men in Green for the game, and Pakistan lost by 6 wickets.
India and Pakistan are set to play each other on October 23 at the MCG.
