Shakib Al Hasan is a short-tempered cricketer and his anger was again on display during Match 3 of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) between Fortune Barishal and Khulna Tigers.

He lost his cool and charged towards the umpire in the 16th over. A clear wide was not signalled by the umpire, which didn’t go down well with Shakib.

Rejaur Rahman Raja bowled a slower bouncer and Shakib was convinced that it was a wide. However, the umpire declared it a legitimate delivery.

Shakib charged aggressively towards the umpire and was seen arguing with him.

In the end, opposition keeper Mushfiqur Rahim brought the situation under control.

Shakib went after the bowlers and slammed a lot of boundaries. He completed his half-century in just 26 balls.

Mashrafe Mortaza took his wicket but not before the star all-rounder accumulated 67 runs off 32 balls with the help of seven fours and four sixes.

Shakib had kicked the stumps during a Dhaka Premier League (DPL) match in 2021. He was unhappy with the umpire’s decision.
