Pakistan fast bowlers have done well in the white-ball cricket since Shaun Tait joined the team as a bowling coach. However, the pace battery has failed to replicate the performances in Test cricket.
In the ongoing two-match series against New Zealand, the pacers haven’t contributed. The tracks have been favourable for the batters, leading to the hammering of the seamers.
Shaun Tait, who attended the press conference after the end of Day 4, was questioned by journalists.
One of the reporters indirectly took a dig at Tait, which didn’t go down well with the former Aussie bowler.
Reporter – This is not my opinion but the entire Pakistan thinks that our fast bowlers haven’t delivered a good performance. How satisfied are you with your performance?
Shaun Tait – You are answering a question before you ask it. That’s your opinion. You are saying performances have been poor. What would you like me to say?
The reporter continued to argue with the bowling coach. Tait clearly told him to ask a question. When he repeated the same thing, Shaun said that he is satisfied with his performance.
Meanwhile, Pakistan have lost two wickets without scoring a run while chasing 319 in the second Test.
