Virat Kohli was stunned after Bangladesh’s stand-in skipper Litton Das took a stunner to get rid of the former India captain.

The 34-year-old scored 9 off 15 balls when Shakib Al Hasan sent him back to the pavilion.

However, it was the fielder’s wicket as Das took a one-handed stunner, almost parallel to the ground, to add another wicket in Bangladesh’s kitty.

Kohli couldn’t believe what he saw as he thought the ball was placed in the gap. The captain was mobbed by his teammates for removing one of the world’s most dangerous and in-form batters.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and invited the visitors to bat first. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan couldn’t capitalise in the powerplay overs, and the latter departed after scoring 7. Rohit hit 4 fours and a six but was bowled by Shakib Al Hasan on a score of 27.
