India registered a thumping win over Sri Lanka in the 3rd and final ODI, as the Men in Blue recorded the biggest ODI win after beating the Island Nation by 317 runs.
Virat Kohli highlighted the match with his 166-run knock, which also fetched him the player of the match and series award. Meanwhile, rising star Shubman Gill also starred for the Men in Blue, as the 23-year-old scored his 2nd ODI century and the first one on home soil.
Gill scored 116(97), which included fourteen fours and two sixes. Besides his century, another instance from the match involving Shubman caught the internet’s attention.
During Sri Lanka’s batting, Gill was fielding at the boundary when a few mischievous crowd members teased and mocked the youngster with ‘Sara, Sara’ chants.
The video featuring this incident has been doings on the internet, where Gill could be seen waving to the crowd when a few people started the chant.
Notably, Gill was rumoured to be dating Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar. However, there were further reports that the duo parted ways.
