Former Pakistan captain Waqar Younis has given a stern reply to Mohammad Hafeez, who recently questioned Rohit Sharma’s captaincy and batting form.
Without taking Hafeez’s name Waqar said that the same person must have gone through a lean patch if he is a cricketer.
Also, the legendary player doesn’t believe that Rohit is out of form and is not leading the team properly.
“Everyone has a viewpoint but for me, Rohit is not out of form and his captaincy has been good. Despite playing a good shot, a batter gets out and that’s cricket, which is tricky at times,” said Waqar.
“The person, who has questioned Rohit’s form must have gone through bad days if he is a cricketer and that’s part and parcel of a game. You can’t question a player after a few games. For me, Rohit still has a long future.”
