Harmanpreet Kaur said that the Women in Blue are ready for the ICC T20 World Cup 2023 in South Africa. The Indian women’s team captain wrote on Twitter that she is excited to lead the team at another big tournament. She wants to take the trophy home.
India made it to the final of the last edition of the T20 World Cup in 2020. However, they lost to Australia. Harmanpreet’s team has played a lot of games since then, gaining a valuable experience.
Earlier, they competed in a tri-series in South Africa, where they lost to the host nation in the final.
The captains of all the teams in the Women’s ICC T20 World Cup 2023 participated in a photoshoot ahead of the mega event. The official Twitter handle of the global event shared a picture on social media.
Reacting to the snap, Harmanpreet wrote that she is looking forward to the tournament.
