Virat Kohli also spoke on how he approaches games of such high magnitude and the feeling of playing in front of 1 lakh supporters at the MCG.

Team India’s man in form, Virat Kohli, is likely to miss the third T20I against South Africa as the management has decided to rest him ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup.

Virat Kohli has been in blistering form since returning for the Asia Cup 2022. He hit his maiden T20I hundred and also broke century drought.

Even in the T20I series with Australia, the 33-year-old played an important knock in the series decider.

Coming back to the South Africa series, he failed to get going in the opening contest but roared back to his best in the next encounter, scoring an unbeaten 49 in Guwahati.

India will be banking on him in the global event Down Under. Virat had earlier revealed his dream of winning the World Cups for the team.

The 2007 champions will play their opening game against Pakistan on October 23 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
