Cricket is a team game, and a nation can’t win big tournaments with the help of one or two players. Former India player Aakash Chopra has highlighted Team India’s biggest concern in international cricket.

India were recently eliminated from the Asia Cup 2022 after losing to Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the Super 4 stage. India haven’t won a big title for long, and their track record in the ICC events is even more pathetic.

“Kohli-Rohit have been in decent form in the last few editions of ICC tournaments…but India hasn’t won any 🏆 for a while. This is enough to realise that one or two batter’s form isn’t equal to winning the World Cup,” he wrote.

The Men in Blue’s last three ICC titles came under MS Dhoni’s captaincy. The 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy were lifted by the sub-continent team; since then, it has been a barren run.
