Virat Kohli faces more heat after India’s shameful exit from ICC T20 World Cup
Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul have been slammed by fans and cricket experts

Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul have been slammed by fans and cricket experts for their batting display in the ICC T20 World Cup.

The two openers were not consistent and failed to give a reasonable start to the team.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli is also facing flak for taking too many balls at the start of his innings.

Although Kohli scored 4 half-centuries and is the leading run-scorer in the tournament, he never went after the bowlers.

The 34-year-old took time to play his shots which restricted the run flow in the first 10 overs.

The team needs runs at a brisk pace but Kohli was busy in anchoring the Indian innings after fall of wickets.

Former India player Aakash Chopra has taken a dig at the former India captain.

“Ships have an Anchor…Jet Planes don’t,” he wrote on Twitter.

England defeated India by 10 wickets in the second semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup. Rohit Sharma’s team accumulated 168 in 20 overs but couldn’t defend the total.
