Virat Kohli finally broke the shackles of low scores when he scored a fifty in India’s second game of the Asia Cup 2022 campaign against Hong Kong. The 33-year-old has 31 fifty-plus scores and has equalled Rohit Sharma’s world record.
He took 40 balls and hit two sixes and a four to reach his first fifty since February.

The former captain has been under pressure for his failures and was rested ahead of the Asia Cup 2022. The veteran missed the series against the West Indies and Zimbabwe.
In the campaign opener with Pakistan, Kohli accumulated 35 runs off 34 balls but gifted away his wicket when the team needed him to complete the chase of 148.
Meanwhile, India scored 192/2 in the allotted 20 overs, with Suryakumar Yadav hitting 68 not out off 26 balls with the help of 6 sixes and as many fours.
Virat remained unbeaten 59 off 44 balls. The duo shared a 98-run partnership off just 45 deliveries.
