Team India batter Virat Kohli played an incredible knock to lead the side to victory over Pakistan.

Virat Kohli was named the Man of the Match for his magnificent performance against Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup. He amassed 82 off just 53 balls and hit 6 fours and 4 sixes.

The match went to the last over where Virat Kohli’s presence of mind sealed the deal in India’s favour. Mohammad Nawaz’s no ball was the turning point of the game.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first. Despite losing regular wickets, the Men in Green reached 159 in 20 overs.

Chasing 160 to win, the Indian batters had no answer to the brilliance of Pakistani pacers, who reduced the rivals to 31/4 at one stage.

However, Virat and Hardik Pandya scripted their team’s comeback. Meanwhile, Kohli broke the world record of the most Man of the Match awards against a particular opponent in ICC tournaments.

3 – Yuvraj Singh v AUS

3 – AB de Villiers v WI
