Former India player Gautam Gambhir had questioned the team’s aggressive approach under Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma. He said there is no such template, and the match is played according to the game’s situation.
He termed the whole talks around the new brand of cricket nonsense. However, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma don’t seem to agree with the veteran player. In the post-match presentation ceremony, Rohit said India would continue to play attacking cricket despite losing a game.
“We would lose some while trying to go for shots and that’s fine with the team as long as we believe in ourself.”
