Umran Malik ODI debut vs NZ
He recently made his ODI debut and took two wickets against New Zealand.

Umran Malik has become the most famous Indian pacer in a few months. The fans and experts are mighty impressed by his pace and want to see more of him.

He recently made his ODI debut and took two wickets against New Zealand. Although India lost the game, Malik was lauded by many for working on his line and length.

Former India pacer and current head coach of Gujarat Titans Ashish Nehra feels Umran is not only interested in bowling 4 overs and wants more.

“He is not only interested in T20 cricket, and I have seen him bowling 16-18 and 20 overs with rapid pace. He will not hold back. Umran is interested in other formats, which is a good thing in the age of T20 cricket,” said Ashish Nehra.

Backing the young fast bowler to bowl long spells in the coming time, Nehra added that the next few months are crucial for Malik’s career as they will show how he has shaped as a bowler.
