A verbal slugfest has started between BCCI and PCB. After Jay Shah’s statement on the hosting rights of the 2023 Asia Cup, the apex body of Pakistan cricket has hit back. They have threatened to boycott the fifty-over World Cup in India.
Reacting to ongoing issue between the two boards, Salman Butt has made a big statement. He said Pakistan should request the ICC to take the 2023 World Cup out of India if the 2023 Asia Cup is not held in their backyard.
“If India don’t want to play in Pakistan and the Asia Cup is taken out of our country, the 2023 World Cup should also be played at neutral venue,” he said.
The southpaw further said that there is a lot of time left in the two events and everyone should wait before taking any action.
