The T20I and ODI series in New Zealand were impacted by rain. India won the shortest format series by a margin of 1-0, with one game being abandoned and the other ending in a tie.
The one-day internationals had a similar finish with New Zealand winning the first game and the rest getting called off due to rain.
The weather in New Zealand was cold, and the players were seen wearing a beanie.
Commenting on this, former India player Ajay Jadeja made a big statement. According to him, the current players are lucky to have an official beanie.
“They are lucky to have an official beanie. Had Suryakumar Yadav worn a beanie 10-15 years ago, his career would have ended in that game itself. People would say that he is disrespecting the cap and things like that. I am glad to see these players are wearing it,” he said.
Yuzvendra Chahal, Hardik Pandya, Surayakumar, Dinesh Karthik, and Deepak Chahar have been spotted wearing beanies while fielding.
