Suryakumar Yadav has retained his second place in ICC T20I Rankings. He has been in good form in the shortest format and recently accumulated the most runs for India in the T20I series against South Africa.
He is on 838 points behind Pakistan wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan. KL Rahul and Virat Kohli are in the 13th and 14th spots, while captain Rohit Sharma is 16th.
Meanwhile, Virat dropped one place to seventh in the ODI rankings. Even Rohit was demoted as he was among Indian players who had missed the ODI series against South Africa.
Shikhar Dhawan, who captained the team in the series, also lost the ground and went to 17th place after a forgettable series with the bat. Iyer, who scored a century in the second one-day international, climbed three spots to reach number 33, and spinner Kuldeep Yadav entered the top 25 in the latest ICC Men’s ODI Players Rankings issued on Wednesday.
