Suryakumar Yadav hasn’t fired in one-day internationals. He failed in the third ODI against New Zealand on Tuesday, January 24. He was back in the dressing room after scoring 14 off 9 balls.

While he has been sensational in T20Is, the world is still waiting to see his aggressive batting in the fifty-over format.

The 32-year-old was given a couple of chances after Shreyas Iyer was ruled out but he has failed to contribute.

He was out in the middle in the 35th and the situation was tailor made for him but he hit one straight to long-on off Jacob Duffy’s bowling.

Fans were not pleased and lambasted him for his batting.

Here are some of the reactions

His last ODI fifty came during the home series against West Indies in February 2022.
