Pakistan captain Babar Azam has retained his No.1 rank in ICC T20I Rankings. India cruised to a 4-1 series triumph against the West Indies.
Babar, who will lead Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022, has 818 points, while Suryakumar Yadav also remains No. 2 with 805 points, just 13 behind his Pakistani counterpart.
The ICC released the latest rankings on Wednesday, and Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant were the gainers. Iyer hit an impressive half-century in the fifth contest of the series and jumped six places to the 19th spot.
Pant finished the series as the joint second leading run-scorer with 115 coming from his bat. He moved to the 59th spot from the 66th position.
SKY was the leading run-scorer during the series with 135 runs, but the decision to rest him from the last game meant he missed out on the chance to replace Babar as the top-ranked batter.
