India batter Suryakumar Yadav retained his No. 1 spot in the ICC T20I rankings. However, his points dropped to 859, 10 lesser than his career-best tally.

The right-handed batter had reached 869 points after a stunning performance in the Super 2 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup.

He lost 10 points after he failed in the semi-final against England. SKY accumulated 239 runs during the World Cup at an average and strike-rate of 59.75 and 189.68, respectively.

Surya was the third-highest run-scorer in the event, behind Virat Kohli and Netherlands’ Max O’Dowd.

Mohammad Rizwan is in the second place with 836 points. Babar Azam has retained his third place.

Virat Kohli, who was the top-scorer in the T20 World Cup with 296 runs, is 11th. Meanwhile, England batter Alex Hales was one of the biggest gainers after his 212 runs at an average of 42.40.

He jumped 22 places and is now placed in the 12th spot.
