Sourav Ganguly has named five players who will make a name for themselves in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He picked Prithvi Shaw, Rishabh Pant and Ruturaj Gaikwad as his first three players.

“Rishabh Pant and Prithvi Shaw are talented,” he said on Star Sports.

“Shaw has got the world at his feet; Rishabh Pant is the No. 2. Ruturaj Gaikwad would complete the list of three batters,” he added.

In 63 IPL games, Prithvi has scored 1588 runs with the help of 12 half-centuries. Pant has accumulated 2838 runs in 98 matches.

Gaikwad has amassed 1207 runs in 36 games, including a century and 10 half-centuries.

Umran Malik also made it to the list of Sourav Ganguly. “He will keep the fans interested in cricket because of his genuine pace,” he said.

Ganguly also picked Shubman Gill. “I forgot his name. He is very talented.”
