Heinrich Klaasen is one of the most powerful hitters of the cricket ball in white-ball formats. The right-handed batter is a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League 2024. In Qualifier 2 against Rajasthan Royals, he hit an unbelievable six on Yuzvendra Chahal’s good length delivery.
Navjot Singh Sidhu and Ambati Rayudu were surprised to see Klaasen’s maximum, calling it the best six in the history of cricket.
In the 13th over of Hyderabad’s innings, Heinrich dispatched the fourth ball for a six in the cover region.
“I want a poster of this six. The budding cricketers should take a note of this shot. It is the best six in history of cricket. Hitting a good length delivery for a six in cover region is next to impossible,” Ambati Rayudu said.
Sidhu gave Heinrich Klaasen a new title. “He is Sixer Klaasen for me. I couldn’t close my mouth after seeing that shot from him. I have seen batters hitting innovative strokes but this is out of the world. He can hit sixes on Mars,” Sidhu said.
