Shoaib Akhtar lost his cool when he was reminded of Asif Ali's physical altercation with Fareed Ahmad.

Former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar didn’t like the question by an Indian journalist before the start of the blockbuster Asia Cup 2022 game between India and Pakistan.

He was queried on the famous ‘Baap baap hota hai’ remark that former India cricketer Virender Sehwag had said to him during one of the matches between the two nations.

Denying that Sehwag had ever said such things, Akhtar was left fuming at the journalist for trying to spread more the between India and Pakistan.

The journalist asked him to tell her about a similar incident that he has not spoken to anyone.

Akhtar revealed that he had once asked Sehwag about making such a statement, but he denied it. He urged the anchor to focus on cricket rather than talk about unwanted stuff.

This isn’t the first time Akhtar has denied Sehwag’s version of the story. Two years back, in an interview on Pakistani news channel ARY News, had said the same thing.
