Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi has been a good captain for Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League. The Qalandars have qualified for the knock-outs of PSL 2023 with six wins in seven matches.
Afridi has been lauded by many for his leadership skills and Pakistan’s former captain Misbah-ul-Haq made a big remark.
“Shaheen Afridi is a special captain and knows how to utilise his bowlers in the Pakistan Super League. Lahore didn’t need David Weise but Shaheen bowled him effectively. Sikander Raza also bowled, and so did Hussain Talat. He is only in the second season as skipper, but we are witnessing something special,” he said.
Reacting to Misbah’s comments, Shahid Afridi revealed that Shaheen told him the same thing in their private conversation.
“I have been talking to Shaheen and he told me the exact thing that Misbah said.. Shaheen wants to use all his resources,” said Shahid Afridi.
