The language he used was not liked by legendary bowler Wasim Akram, who threatened him on a TV show.

Shaheen Afridi has been declared fit for the ICC T20 World Cup match against India on October 23 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, says PCB chairman Ramiz Raja.

He missed the Asia Cup 2022 and the T20I series against England at home. Afridi is not playing in the ongoing tri-series in New Zealand.

Speaking to Pakistan channel Dawn News, Ramiz informed that Afridi will be playing in all the matches of the global event.

“Usman Qadir has a hair line fracture in finger and we will see what options we have. Fakhar Zaman is getting better and I feel he can play an important role. His inclusion in the main squad will depend on team management,” he said.
