IPL 2023 final between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings will be played on a reserve day due to rain. Ahead of the final, several cricket enthusiasts, including fans and experts, shared several anecdotes about MS Dhoni, who will be playing his 10th IPL final with CSK and is also speculated to be standing in his last IPL game.
In the latest development, IPL 1 auctioneer Richard Madley, who auctioned MS Dhoni in the first season, shared an autograph given by Dhoni for his son after the auction and remarked that auctioning MSD has been the highlight of his career.
Madley took to Twitter and wrote, “Selling #Dhoni in the first #IPL auction was a career highlight & meeting him was very special. He signed this for my son @harrymadley6. Good luck today #CSK #WhistlePodu #Yellove.”
Notably, CSK bought MS Dhoni for 9.5 crores in 2008 and was the highest-paid player for the inaugural season of the cash-studded league. Touted as one of the best buys in the IPL, MSD will be playing his 250 IPL game in the final and has won four titles with CSK.
