Indian speedster Prasidh Krishna tied the knot with his fiance Rachana in a traditional south Indian wedding ceremony on Thursday, June 8. The marriage ceremony was attended by renowned cricketers such as Shreyas Iyer and Jasprit Bumrah, along with Karnataka cricketer Krishnappa Gowtham, who extended their best wishes to the couple.
Shreyas Iyer took to Instagram to congratulate Prasidh Krishna, writing, “Congratulations Skiddyy.” Gowtham also used social media to send his wishes to the newly married couple.
Prasidh Krishna is currently undergoing rehabilitation following a back surgery, which ruled him out of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL). The 27-year-old fast bowler had suffered a lumbar stress fracture in his spine, necessitating the surgical procedure. As a replacement for the 16th edition of the IPL, the Rajasthan Royals brought in right-arm medium pacer Sandeep Sharma.
Overall, Prasidh Krishna has had a successful stint in the Indian Premier League, claiming 49 wickets in 51 matches with an economy rate of 8.92. In the 2022 edition, while playing for the Rajasthan Royals, he took 19 wickets with an economy rate of 8.29. He played a crucial role in helping his team reach the final, where they were defeated by the Gujarat Titans.
