Sarfaraz Khan
He has hit 13 centuries and nine half-centuries in the 54 innings he has played.

Sarfaraz Khan has again admitted that he was disappointed after not being selected for the first Two Tests against Australia. He was expecting a call as he has been unstoppable in the Ranji Trophy.

On the Aakashvani show on JioCinema, Sarfaraz Khan was asked about his reaction when he was not picked.

“The expectations were there, but I couldn’t make it. However, I can only perform as the selection is not in my hands. My father told me to score runs whether I play for India or not. So I will score runs even If I am playing in Ranji Trophy,” he told Aakash Chopra.

Sarfaraz has amassed 3505 runs at an outstanding average of 79.65 in 37 first-class games. He has hit 13 centuries and nine half-centuries in the 54 innings he has played.

The Mumbai batter highlighted that he was waiting for a chance to showcase his talent in red-ball cricket and hasn’t looked back since making his debut.

“I knew I could play red-ball matches and needed few opportunities.”
