Mumbai's golden man Sarfaraz Khan, who is in the form of his life, is likely to be rewarded with his maiden India call-up soon.

Sarfaraz Khan continued his brilliant runs in Ranji Trophy by hitting a fourth-century on Thursday. Playing for Mumbai, he bought up his hundred against Madhya Pradesh with a boundary. He celebrated by punching the air after taking 190 balls for his three-figure mark.

He has already registered scores of 275 runs against Saurashtra, 153 against Uttarakhand, and 165 against Odisha.

The right-handed batter accumulated more than 900 runs in the 2021-22 Ranji Trophy season and remained on course to better his 928 runs from the 2019-20 season.

Fans were impressed with his unstoppable runs and lauded the player on social media.

The 24-year-old, one of the most exciting talents, plays his cricket like Virender Sehwag. He likes to go after pacers and spinners. If Sarfaraz continues to dominate bowlers, he could be included in the national team.
