Sudharsan broke plethora of records against CSK

In the ongoing IPL 16 final between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Gujarat Titans put 214/4 on the board, the highest total in the finals of IPL.

Sai Sudharsan was the hero with the bat, as the 21-year-old fell four runs short of a century and amassed 96(47), which included eight fours and six sixes. With the magnificent innings, the left-hand batter scripted a massive IPL record and also went on to achieve several other milestones.

Firstly, Sai’s 96 runs knock is the highest individual score by an uncapped Indian player in an IPL final. The 21-year-old broke Manish Pandey’s record of 94 runs innings in 2011 for CSK. Overall, Sudharsan is 3rd on the list for the highest individual scores in an IPL final. Here is the complete list.
