The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will start on March 31. The opening game will be between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Former India player Sanjay Manjrekar lauded Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for their bowling strength and said they have the best bowling attack in the IPL 2023. RCB will play their opening game against the Mumbai Indians on April 2.
“They have depth in their pace bowling. Even if Josh Hazlewood is not fit, then they have Topley. In spin, they have Wanindu Hasaranga. Mohammed Siraj and Harshal Patel are good bowlers. The bowling is perfect, and even Glenn Maxwell can bowl. In this IPL, the best attack belongs to RCB, which is their x-factor,” he said.
RCB made it to the knockouts last year but lost the eliminator to Rajasthan Royals. The team will be led by Faf du Plessis, with Virat Kohli being one of the best batters in the team.
