Team India captain Rohit Sharma has completed 15 years in international cricket.

Rohit Sharma is the current skipper of the Indian team. After a mediocre IPL 2022 for Mumbai Indians, the 34-year-old has been rested for the upcoming five-match T20I series against South Africa. The veteran will next be seen in the one-off rescheduled Test against England.

The right-handed batter has been hit by a rough patch, and even his performance in international cricket has taken a hit. Many feel the burden of captaincy across formats has impacted his batting, and the player should take a calculated approach while leading Team India.

He is expected to lead India till the fifty-over World Cup in 2023. The global event will be played in the sub-continent country. His childhood coach Dinesh Lad has also confirmed Rohit’s plans. He feels Rohit will play for another two years for the country.

“I feel he will be able to play for another two years. Age is s factor, and he has been playing cricket continuously, but I don’t think he has ever taken pressure. But yes, he should concentrate on his fitness as age is definitely a factor,” he said.
