Rohit Sharma slammed a journalist for questioning his return to form. The 35-year-old scored his 30th ODI hundred in the third ODI against New Zealand. The veteran, who was battling injuries and poor run with the bat, managed to score runs against Sri Lanka and the Kiwis.

The Men in Blue won all the ODIs against the Tom Latham-led team. One of the reporters asked about his rousing comeback with a century. However, Rohit got angry and hit back at the journo.

“What sort of comeback? I didn’t get it. Oh, someone would have told you. See, of those last three years, everyone was at home for eight months in 2020. Where were the matches? We played T20 cricket last year. In the T20 format, nobody is batting better than Suryakumar Yadav. He scored two T20I hundreds and I don’t think anyone else has scored a hundred. I played just two Tests against Sri Lanka and was injured in between. So, you see all this before making a news.”
