India won the toss and invited Australia to bat first. The visitors scored 90/5, with Matthew Wade hitting an unbeaten 43 off 20 balls, laced with 4 fours and 3 sixes.

Chasing 91 in 8 overs, Rohit became the first player to hit 504 boundaries in the shortest format. He has smashed 328 fours and 176 so far.
