Ravindra Jadeja deleted all CSK posts from the 2021 and 2022 seasons of the Indian Premier League. Jadeja’s action sparked the rumours that all is not well between the Chennai Super Kings and the star all-rounder.
In IPL 2022, Jadeja was appointed team’s captain but he left the post mid-way, with MS Dhoni taking over.
He also missed the last couple of matches due to an injury. However, a CSK official said that nothing is wrong between the player and the franchise. He said it is Jadeja’s personal call to delete the posts.
“This is a personal call by him. We are not aware of it. All is ok. Nothing is wrote,” a CSK official told news agency ANI.
The four-time champions finished ninth in the 15th season of the tournament. They won just 4 games.
Ravindra made a comeback to competitive cricket in the rescheduled fifth and final Test of the series against England. He scored 104 & 23 but India lost the match by 7 wickets.
