Ravindra Jadeja x-factor for CSK
For years, the Chennai Super Kings have been defying odds and showcasing true grit and determination in the IPL.

Ravindra Jadeja posted a cryptic tweet shortly after Chennai Super Kings retained him for IPL 2023.

The all-rounder reacted to the news as he shared a picture of him with CSK captain MS Dhoni and wrote: “Everything is fine”, followed by a yellow heart emoticon and restart hashtag.

He was the new skipper of the franchise last year, but he left the post after a string of losses as Dhoni took over the role.

In 10 matches of IPL 2022, he scored 116 runs and took 5 wickets. The captaincy impacted his performance.

There were reports of a rift between Jadeja and CSK. He will hope for a good outing this time around with CSK.

CSK released eight players and will head into the auction with ₹20.45 crore purse.
