MS Dhoni is celebrating his 41st birthday on Thursday, and his fan, former and current cricketers, are wishing him.
The veteran is adored by players globally, and Pakistan is no different. Shahnawaz Dahani, who is Dhoni’s ardent fan, took to Twitter to wish his inspiration and role model.
The Pakistani player was seen talking to Mahi in the last edition of the ICC T20 World Cup in the UAE, where the former captain was Team India’s mentor. It was a dream come true for Dahani, who has repeatedly expressed his love for the most successful Indian captain.
“To one of the all-time great entertainers & finisher, an inspiration, and role model, I wish you a happy birthday, sir @msdhoni. And sir, You are still young & fit enough to play cricket, so please keep entertaining us for atleast a few more years,” he wrote.
MSD last played for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League 2022, where his team finished 9th in the points table. He had already expressed his desire to play his last game in Chennai, a place he considers his second home.
The veteran has led CSK to four IPL titles and is the second most successful skipper in the tournament after Rohit Sharma.
