Virat Kohli took to social media to laud Suryakumar Yadav for his second hundred in T20Is. The Indian batter took just 51 balls to hit 111 runs not out in the second T20I against New Zealand.
He hit 11 fours and 7 sixes in his knock. SKY went for his shots despite losing wickets from the other end and took India’s total to 191/6 in 20 overs.
Chasing 192, New Zealand were never in the game and were bowled out for 126 with Deepak Hooda taking 4 wickets.
Former India captain Virat praised the No.1 batter in the world.
“Numero Uno showing why he’s the best in the world. Didn’t watch it live but I’m sure this was another video game innings by him,” he wrote.
Virat has been rested from the ongoing tour of New Zealand.
Meanwhile, Surya was named the Man of the Match for his batting display.
