A senior player of the Pakistan team has said that there was no heated argument between Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi after the team’s elimination from the Asia Cup 2023.
According to earlier reports, the two clashed after the captain pointed out the poor performances of the players.
“Everyone shared their thoughts in the team meeting and there was no argument between Babar and Shaheen. Everyone left the meeting together and some of the players also travelled back to Pakistan on the same flight,” he informed Cricket Pakistan.
“We don’t care about the critics as it is their job to go after us after every game. Our focus is on cricket and we are looking forward to the ICC World Cup 2023,” he added.
