Quinton de Kock is playing his last ODI in South Africa as he has decided to take retirement from the format after the ICC World Cup 2023 in India. The Proteas are taking on Australia in the fifth and final game of the series.

Both Australia and South Africa have won two contests each, respectively. Reacting to his decision, De Kock said:

“My body says I’m 40. My ID says I’m 31 and I still try to act like I’m a 20 year old all the time,” he said.

Meanwhile, Australia won the toss and elected to bat first in a series-decider.
