Yuzvendra Chahal heaped massive praise on R Ashwin after the latter’s sensational bowling performance against Australia in the second ODI of the three-match series. The off-spinner took three wickets as the Men in Blue won the game and also the series.
Reacting to Ashwin’s spell, Chahal wrote on X:
“Ravichandran Ashwin name is enough.”
AB de Villiers praised Yuzvendra Chahal for his gesture. “This must have been difficult for Yuzi but he still went ahead to laud his teammate. Chahal must be hurting from inside after being overlooked for the ICC World Cup 2023 but he was still happy for Ashwin,” he said.
The former South Africa captain feels India are the favourites for the World Cup title. He said the Men in Blue are in good form while other teams are still struggling.
