The All-India Senior Selection Committee met on Monday to pick India’s squads for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia and for the T20I series against Australia and South Africa at home.
Mohammed Shami, who hasn’t been included in the T20 World Cup team, has made the cut for the series against Australia and South Africa. Shami’s last T20I was in the 2021 T20 World Cup in the UAE.
Chahar, who is on standby for the global event in Australia is a part of the two T20I series. All the World Cup bound players will play against the two rivals.
Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be reporting to the NCA for conditioning-related work during the course of the home series against Australia and South Africa.
